Grilled lamb


  • 1.5kg Lamb meat (preferably leg or shoulder, cut into pieces for grilling )
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Lucia Oil No. 15 P.D.O. Monte Etna
  • For condiments :

1.Spicy Cream of Tomato.

2. Almond and Basil Pesto.

3. Beet, Leek and Almond Pesto.

4. Cream of Pumpkin and Capers.

  • For outline:

1,500g potatoes, cut into slices

2. 500g asparagus, cleaned and with the ends broken off

3.Salt, pepper and olive oil to taste.


1. Meat preparation:

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Season the lamb with salt, pepper and a drizzle of oil Lucia No. 15

2. Preparation of asparagus and potatoes:

  • Heat the oven to 200°C.
  • Arrange the asparagus and potato slices on a baking sheet.
  • Season the asparagus and potatoes with salt, pepper and a drizzle of Lucia No. 15 oil. Stir well to distribute the seasoning evenly.
  • Bake and cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until potatoes are golden brown and asparagus is tender.

3. Meat grilling:

  • Place the pieces of meat on the hot grill.

  • Cook the meat for about 8-10 minutes per side, turning it once, until it is golden brown and cooked to the desired doneness (cooking time depends on cooking preference and size of meat pieces).

4. Preparation of condiments:

  • Pour the prepared condiments (spicy tomato cream, almond and basil pesto, beet, leek and almond pesto, and pumpkin and caper cream) into small bowls or small pots.

5. Presentation:

  • Garnish the eggplant with fresh basil leaves and almond slices.

6. Bake in the oven:

  • Bake the eggplant in a 180°C oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the filling is golden brown.

7. Servants:

  • Serve the Grilled Lamb with the hot seasonings.
  • Complete the meal with asparagus and baked potatoes as side dishes.
  • For an extra touch of freshness, decorate the dish with fresh herbs such as basil or parsley.
