Lucia Oil No. 15 DOP Monte Etna is a superior category, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil made from olives of the Nocellara Etnea variety (about 70 percent) with the addition of olives of the Brandofino variety (up to 30 percent). Depending on the vintage, the oil shows the intensity of medium to light green olive fruitiness, accompanied by tomato, artichoke, almond and floral notes.


The product is particularly appreciated raw on fish, vegetables and legume soups. The pleasantly fruity flavor also makes it equally suitable on bruschetta, fresh vegetables and roasted meat.


Harvesting is from veraison and does not go beyond the third decade of November. It is carried out by combing the crowns by hand and/or with the help of facilitatrci machines and harvesting nets lying on the ground, thus allowing only freshly harvested olives to be picked. The olives, a few hours after harvesting, are cold pressed at a temperature of 27°C, which allows the organoleptic qualities to be transferred to the oil.
